RC Late Nights – Histories of Pride

July 26, 2017 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

From the Compton Cafeteria Riots and the fight against police brutality to the marches and protests against the administration’s silence about the AIDS epidemic, the LGBTQ+ community has a rich — though often overlooked and white-washed — history of pushing back and demanding justice.

We will take the time to learn about and recognize some of the many people who gave everything they had in order to pave the way for us to continue the fight today.

About RC Late Nights

Each week on Wednesday we have a new night of programming at the RC. Presentations, classes, arts & crafts, discussions, field trips, and more! Join us, you might learn something new!

If you anticipate needing any type of accommodation, please contact the Rainbow Center at (253) 383-2318 or by email at [email protected] in advance.
