Relationship Skills Class
August 21 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
One event on August 28, 2019 at 6:00pm
We are delighted to announce that the Rainbow Center is partnering with The Northwest Network of Bi, Trans, Lesbian, and Gay Survivors of Abuse to present a 2-Part Relationship Skills Class workshop, for the first time in Tacoma!
We will be exploring how power & oppression manifest in our interpersonal relationships, how we think about values, and how we can manage interpersonal conflict. This will be a snack-filled series, where we will be exploring the skills that we need to build the relationships and communities that we want.
This series is not the space to troubleshoot intimate/specific relationships that you might be in, but rather a place to come together and practice skills. If you are looking to debrief a specific relationship or want to talk more about what is going on, give the NW Network a call! (206) 568-777, 9am- 5pm, we are always happy to talk to you more 1:1.
This 2-part series is open to:
LGBTQ+ people & their friends & loved ones, regardless of their relationship status or history.
When & Where?
When: The workshops will be held from 6pm – 8:30 pm on Wednesday, August 21st and 28th (must attend both).
Where: The Rainbow Center is located at 2215 Pacific Avenue, Tacoma, WA. There is a parking lot next to the center, as well as free street parking in front of the center and on neighboring streets after 5pm.
