We work to ensure that all LGBTQ2S persons receive the same human rights as all other persons in Pierce County, Washington State, and the United States. We envision a world where every LGBTQ2S individual can thrive as their full self, affirmed and celebrated.

Rainbow Center works with our partners to stay up to date on opportunities to advance civil rights, expand inclusive and affirming policies, and end discrimination. We share this information with you through our newsletter, social media presence, and participation in local, regional, and state conversations. We also organize and encourage action when policies or laws will have a positive or negative effect on the wellbeing of members of our LGBTQ2S community. 

If you are aware of an issue that may affect the LGBTQ2S community or result in LGBTQ2S individuals being mistreated, excluded, or harmed in some way, we would like to hear from you. Our goal is to organize people quickly toward social and/or political change meant to remove barriers, combat discrimination, and expand inclusion.
