Financial Empowerment with Mel

September 13, 2017 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Every Wednesday night, we bring in community leaders and friendly experts to the Rainbow Center to provide workshops or hold space for the LGBTQA community.

We’re thrilled to have our friend, Mel Shrieves, join us to lead an informal session about finances. Mel has an extensive background helping individuals navigate financial challenges and opportunities, from spending and saving to managing loans and credit. Bring your questions about setting financial goals. Ask Mel what financial opportunities might be out there for you. Mel will provide the space for you to ask anonymously or discuss openly options that work for *you*.

There will also be an opportunity to win a special prize, a book vetted by Mel to help you reach your financial goals.

Finally, this event offers the opportunity to give feedback. Mel and the Rainbow Center are in the process of designing a program to better help our community understand and navigate personal finances, and your input is critical. Come with questions and your financial needs so we can build this program based on *you*.

We can’t wait to see you.
