
The Rainbow Center is excited to host their annual fundraising event bridging the local arts and non-profit communities. The Rainbow Center, Tacoma’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) resource center, with support of many local artists, invites all art lovers and community supporters to join us at our second Annual Out for Art fundraiser and auction. |
| The auction, featuring the very popular and entertaining auctioneer, Laura Michalek, will take place Sunday May 4th at the Phoenix Room in Freighthouse Square, 2501 East D Street. Ms. Michalek will be conducting an invigorating live auction of pieces selected by a three-judge panel. Doors open at 2:00 pm, with the live auction starting at 3:00 pm. Additionally, many other pieces will be available for sale in the Out for Art “store”. |

“Being in the Center and having people come in to inquire about the art work in our window display brings pride in the artistry, as well as, a unique sense of connectedness within our community”, says Aimee Welch, Executive Director of the Rainbow Center. “Art has the ability to transcend differences and bring people together in a shared passion.”
Tickets are $15, available at The Giving Place, in the Freighthouse Square, 2501 East D Street, the Rainbow Center, 741 St. Helens or at the door at the time of the event. Admission will include hors d’ouvres, and champagne or non-alcohol beverages. |

Out for Art continues the Rainbow Center’s celebration of ten years of serving and educating Tacoma and it’s neighboring communities. |
